More About The Pelvic Floor Workshop
Many female athletes are keen to continue exercise throughout their pregnancy; and are eager to return to the gym after having a baby. Yet, they feel overwhelmed with what to do, what not to do, how to progress and how to regress.
Being told to ‘listen to their body’ is over generalised guidance during a time when your body is going through so many changes.
This workshop will give you the tools and education you need to navigate pregnancy and postnatal exercise, core and pelvic health for sustainable athleticism, function and enjoyment.
Learn what to do or what not to do as a pregnant or postpartum athlete;
Learn that listening to your body may not be enough guidance;
Learn that doing what you’ve always done is unhelpful generalised advice, so how can this be personalised?
Know what you’re doing is safe for your body during pregnancy and as you heal post birth;
Know how to change your training strategy during pregnancy and after childbirth.
Learn how to manage, improve or prevent symptoms within your control because you know that your core and pelvic health is a priority
Receive guidance and assurance so you can feel informed, confident and empowered
Learn more than to just “Listen To Your Body”
With the right education and knowing to adjust training strategy, movement patterns, symptoms to be mindful of, (Diastasis Recti, incontinence, prolapse,) freedom to modify or gradual progression whilst taking into account the compromised core and pelvic floor, YOU CAN train smart during this unfamiliar chapter to achieve sustainable athleticism.
