Unfortunately, many pregnant women or new mums don’t know that there is a specialty area of physiotherapy dedicated to Women’s Health that can help mothers during pregnancy and after childbirth.
A Women’s Health Physiotherapist has expert knowledge about how to regain a pain-free, problem free, quality of life after having a baby.
Joining us at our Intensive Core and Pelvic Floor Exercise Program are Women’s Health Physiotherapist; Lara Diepeveen Mercy Physiotherapy SJOG Hospital and Kate Fosdike Life Ready Physiotherapy, who open the floor on issues arising around pregnancy and childbirth. They will also provide our mums with a postnatal assessment using real-time ultrasound and discounted follow up appointments if required.
Our Intensive Core and Pelvic Floor Exercise Program provides mums with expert knowledge about how they can regain a pain-free, problem free, quality of life after having their baby.
This is a program that provides mums with the essential physical support needed after having a baby to be pain-free, fit and strong.
After childbirth specialised corrective exercise will help get you safely back to the things that you love. Whether you are a swimmer, runner, cyclist, walker, netball player, or you are keen to plan your next pregnancy, my programs facilitate a healthy strong recovery. As a Women’s Health Exercise specialist I can create a personalised exercise plan to fit your needs, and can also collaborate with Women's Health Physiotherapist in the case of more complex treatment plans.
