Cafes, Spring & Getting Outside

Exercising outdoors beats training indoors hands-down if you ask me.  Especially at this time of the year when the spring air is a little crisp, yet perfectly balanced by the sun.

I love how exercising outdoors gives me an overall positive effect on my vitality. Just mention getting outdoors and my sense of enthusiasm, aliveness, and energy explodes.  

For mums, exercising or simply playing with their children outside can have a positive effect on overall mood, plus did you know that simply spending more time outside has been shown to prevent increases in obesity among children!

After Fit Mums Class recently some of us went for a quick coffee at Miss Watson's on the corner of Angove and Woodville Street.  With it’s gorgeous open outdoor area it’s definitely an ideal spot to take little people.  Check it out here:

Exciting news, Monday 19th September there will be Fit Mums and Bubs classes running Monday to Friday at 9:30 am, these outdoor exercise classes for Mums and Women Only are not all new to my schedule and I know they are always a hit.  The class pace and structure is different to Mums Intensive Core Restore Fitness 8 Week Program, but of course pelvic floor safe and postnatal core safe options will be provided.   There’s also Saturday PhitBox -Boxing for fitness class (outdoors) that is on Saturday 7:30 am and is also suitable for Mums to bring little people, unless it’s a raining day.  So there’s loads of options to keep you moving and are all suitable to bring your little people.

For mums 6 weeks to 6 month postpartum, or mums who have specific pelvic floor, prolaps or abdominal separation concerns consider enrolling now into our next Mums Intensive Core Restore Fitness 8 Week Program commencing 18th October while the EARLY BIRD PRICE IS ON UNTIL 14 SEPTEMBER 2016.
